You can run Zep experiment scripts from the command-line or more conveniently from ZepMan. We’re taking the ZepMan route. We assume you have already created a work folder and installed the desired experiment package into the work folder as described in Installing a Zep experiment script.

  1. If not yet done, select File > Open… to open the desired experiment folder.
Say yes if asked whether a database should be created. See also:
    Open… in ZepMan File Menu

  2. If the Experiments tab is still empty, click New and accept the suggested value (the experiment name). See also:
    New in ZepMan Experiments Tab

  3. If the Researchers tab is still empty, click New and accept the suggested value (your username). See also:
    New in ZepMan Researchers Tab

  4. If the Participants tab is still empty, click New and accept the suggested value (dummy). See also:
    New in ZepMan Participants Tab

  5. Optionally select Script > Check (or just click the Check button on the toolbar) to check the experiment. It should say: OK. See also:
    Check in ZepMan Script Menu

  6. Select Script > Run (or just click the Run button on the toolbar) to start the experiment.See also:
