Purpose of this "game" is to show how to perform gaze contingent actions. The participant will see images moving criss-cross over the screen. Their job is to stop the images from moving by gazing at them one-by-one.

  1. Download experiment package: gazecont_demo.zip

  2. Install the experiment package as described in Installing a Zep experiment script

  3. Run the experiment as described in Running a Zep experiment

Since this is just a technical demo this script does not produce any experiment results or eye-tracking data. The current version uses gaze samples to determine where the participant is looking. You could modify the script to use fixation update events instead.

Screencast of the demo

This screencast shows running the demo from ZepMan. Note, due to the load caused by the screen capturing software the animations are not as smooth as they normally are. Video not yet narrated.
